I failed an entire patient experience! One tiny little move cost me points for an entire patient! I forgot to have my HHXrx signed before I began on my patient. I had just sat down and had only started on my first tooth in the entire mouth when my instructor came over and in a very derogitory way exclaimed that I didn't have my HHX rx signed. Then she went and told professor Costley and came back and told me I failed the whole patient experience and that I was going to have points taken off my grade. I felt like crying the whole rest of the clinic but couldn't because it was the very beginning and didn't want to cry on my patient as I was cleaning her teeth.
It is so unfair because at least two other of my friends have told me that they hadn't gotten theirs signed before, even till the very end after they were done with the patients and when their instructors found out they said, "at least this wasn't and exam" and then didn't fail them. I had just begun! This day is so frustrating, I hate this
